Kamiotani

Kamiotani was a small ski area in the eastern region of Kamo City in Niigata Prefecture. Unfortunately, other than its existence at some time, no information about the ski area can be confirmed. However, it is thought that there were no ski lifts of any kind and it was (surely) used only by locals. Curiously, even now, there was still a bus stop close by named after the ski area! (See photo below).
