During a previous visit to Sarugedake in June 2020 there was a lot of dense foliage and undergrowth making it very difficult to find everything hidden in the forest. A further visit in March 2021 revealed more of the old ski area facilities including a clearer look at the top of the ski lift, the rope tow and around the bottom of the lift. There was still some snow around - not much snow at higher elevations, and about 50cm around the base areas.
