Otani Onsen was a small ski area located in Uozu City in the northeastern region of Toyama Prefecture. It apparently had two surface lifts and closed around the mid-1990s. Since then the hillside has become very overgrown.

Further Information

  • Otani Onsen was a small ski area with two lifts
     
  • It appears they were both surface rope tow style mechanisms, but exact details are unconfirmed
     
  • The ski area seems to have closed around the mid-1990s
     
  • Lifts were removed, and nature has taken back control of the hillside
     
  • The lower base area is completely overgrown, and you would never guess there was a ski slope at this location
