Mogami Atagoyama was a ski area in Magami Town in the northeastern region of Yamagata Prefecture. According to a course map that still remains at the location, there was one ‘rope tow’ lift and a shorter ‘t-bar’ lift in the top area with a few courses coming down from that top point. Since closing, a snow lantern festival has sometimes been held on the lower slope area, usually in early March.
